Congratulations on wanting to work on your foreign languages skills! Language learning sharpens your mind, boosts your self-confidence, earns you more money and lets you travel more abroad, maybe at your employer's expense. It opens up new cultures, new sense impressions, new ways of thinking, and different experiences when you travel and talk with the locals. But let me ask you - are you any good at learning foreign languages? Or does it seem that you just can't get a foreign language into your brain, and have it stick there! Well, I actually have some great news for you. I've been learning foreign languages since I was 11 years old. Begun with another language at 15 years of age. Another at 19. Another at 20. I don't know all of them fluently, but I have great fun and profit from them.

If you have, you're most probably on the wrong path. Truth be told, if you're experiencing anything other than feelings of joy and enthusiasm when it comes to learning German... you're doing it the wrong way. This can not only cost you more time and effort than necessary, it also takes all the fun out of learning. Why do I say this? For years I struggled with learning a language. I tried everything under the sun, from enrolling myself in more courses to spending 3 months abroad... just to get myself immersed in the local culture. But alas... Nothing I Tried Seemed To Work!
